West Seattle Golf Course Hole #10 |
|
375 Yards Par 4 - Chandler Egan originally designed the course starting with hole #10 as the first hole but a blind tee shot followed by a par 3 second backed up play so they reversed the 9's in 1941. This hole has a hazard all the way down the left side of the fairway. The landing is crowned and makes finding the fairway quite difficult. There is much more room left than it appears from the tee. Your line off the tee is the Poplar tree behind the green just left of Mt. Rainier. After a good drive over the hill you will see the putting green about 20 feet below the fairway. The drop in elevation and the downhill lie require less club for your second than the yardage would indicate. |
