West Seattle Golf Course Hole #8

403 Yards Par 4 - The eighth hole is one of our most difficult on the course. The dogleg left hole is quite narrow as it is protected by Out of Bounds on the left and Longfellow creek on the right. The tee ball requires you to precisely control the distance and shape of your shot. If you hit your tee ball farther than 250 yards then it must be shaped right to left to avoid going through the fairway and into the hazard. The uphill approach shot to the green plays much longer than the yardage indicates and is protected by a deep bunker on the right. Once you find the putting surface, give your full attention to the hard left to right slope on the left portion of the green.
