Patty Curtiss, LPGA - Director of Instruction Patty has a unique blend of experience teaching and coaching golf. As a former Division 1, and all conference golfer at the University of New Mexico, Patty chose a career in Sports Medicine and worked with many collegiate athletes. In 1998, Patty joined the LPGA and worked as a dual credentialed golf professional in Palm Springs, where she founded Golf Rehab, a medically directed golf instruction program. Patty grew up in Tacoma and returned to Seattle in 2018. She remains actively involved with the Washington Junior Golf Association and has been coaching the best junior players in the state for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoys people and teaching and will help you improve all aspects of your game. Patty is an LPGA Life Member, Retired Athletic Trainer and certified club fitter for Ping. Luc Birchfield - Head Golf Professional, Teaching & Fitting Specialist Luc has extensive experience playing golf and working in different sectors of the golf industry. He played high school golf locally at Seattle Preparatory School and went on to play collegiate golf at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. Luc began his work in the golf industry as an assistant professional here at Jackson Park back in 2019. He then went on to work as a Sales representative at Cleveland/Srixon for 3 years and as a Director of Instruction at Snohomish Golf Course. Luc brings a wealth of teaching experience to Jackson and has taught many junior golfers who have gone on to play collegiate golf. He also is a master fitter with many major golf brands including but not limited to Cleveland/Srixon, Titleist and Callaway. Jake Jardine - Teaching Professional Jake's passion for golf began in Chicago, playing alongside his grandfather and drawing inspiration from Jack Nicklaus' Masters victory. His love for the game grew through friendly competition with friends and family, eventually leading to a career in coaching and golf instruction. Jake brings valuable experience from competing in local tournaments. He has extensive teaching experience with the First Tee of Greater Seattle and now leads junior camps, adult classes, and private lessons at Jackson Park. Jake is known for his patience and personalized approach and creates a fun, relaxed learning environment. Nick Baker - PGA Associate Nick’s passion for the game blossomed from the age of two, when his dad put a cut-down, duck taped 5 iron in his hands. He went on to play high school golf, winning three consecutive state championships before playing Division I golf at Seattle University. Since high school, Nick has worked across multiple areas of the golf industry, including course maintenance, golf operations, and teaching/coaching. Most recently, as head coach of the Mercer Island Boys Golf team, Nick led the team to a state championship victory in 2025 and a berth in the PGA National Invitational in Pinehurst, NC. Nick is now a PGA Associate and takes great pride in helping players identify their strengths and weaknesses – working on whichever area of the game each individual player wants to grow most in. He believes in purposeful practice and coaching across every facet of the game, short game, putting, long game, mental game, and course management.
